The first thing to do is find the problem. A problem is what you want to know. ( Usually a ? ) .
Than you make a hypothesis, ( a guess ). A hypothesis is what do you think will happen. You should tell the why.
After the hypothesis you need to investigate. If you don't investigate you won't get a complete answer. Investigation is what you do to test. Document the results.
After the investigation you have to document the results. You have to find the control, independent variable, and dependent variable.The control is the part of the experiment that remains the same. The independent variable is the part of the experiment that changes. There should be only 1 per experiment. The dependent variable is change caused by the independent variable.
